Your children have been very flexible with us having to move to a new classroom for testing. The new environment was fun I think to them and for many the location also is their speech room; therefore, the space wasn’t something they never seen. All week we had a great time doing projects centered around Easter. Leading up to the big egg hunt. Thank you for bringing in Easter eggs for each of your child’s classmates. Even with the weather the cafeteria ended up being the perfect place for a hunt. I hope you all enjoy your Easter and that you enjoyed your three-day weekend.
We had a lot of fun extending our knowledge about the seasons. This included reviewing holiday’s in each season, which allowed us to bring back some of our favorite holiday songs. Last week we had a wonderful time learning about soccer through a program called “Happy Feet,” they are hoping to pilot the program next fall. The instructor was wonderful. This last week we have watched our caterpillars grow so big. By next week, I’m pretty sure they will be in their cocoons. We also welcomed a new friend Tucker!
