We had one busy week. We learned all about the letter M, which included us celebrating our friend Morgan’s birthday (what perfect timing). I hope you enjoyed watching all the things your little one is thankful for, Flipgrid is a great app for your little ones to explore on and they love watching themselves on our large interactive board. This helps students work on expressive language skills. Thank you for all the mommies who came in for us to do a thanksgiving hand-print craft and decorate cookies. Remember no school all next week, I hope you enjoy lots of quality family time. When we return, we are off to the races to Christmas it will be here before we know it. Details on our performance will be coming soon! Hint..hint.. think snowmen.
Even though this weekend feels like we skipped over a season, we have had fun talking about the fall season and all the fun that comes along with that. Our topic of family has allowed us to talk about many things, not only about the members in our family, but food we might eat with our families including Thanksgiving. We still welcome any family pictures so we can talk about them during circle-time. On Friday, we got to thank Veterans connected to Farmington, it was a very touching assembly and our kids loved all the performances. Next Week: -
Halloween fun was such a treat. The kids loved learning our poem, “5 Little Pumpkins,” and dancing along to songs such as “I’m a Witch.” Thank you to everyone who brought a treat to share with friends. We also had fun learning about the letter K.
